Colin Mauthe, a native of WI, started his culinary career in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace and thereafter attended the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in New York.
Colin has perfected his craft in numerous locations including Hawaii, Australia, Wales and Nantucket Island. He lived in Chicago for 17 years where he worked at the Shanghai Terrace restaurant at the Peninsula Hotel and later The University Club in downtown Chicago. In 2013 Colin opened his Personal Chef Business, Chef on the Run-Chicago, where he coordinated VIP events and private dinners throughout the area and did consulting in Country Clubs.
While consulting at Pine Hills Country Club in Sheboygan, Wisconsin he was offered the position of Executive Chef in May 2018. He later realized his former passion and once again runs his Chef on the Run business out of Kohler, WI.
